“Who are you?”
Hannibal raises an eyebrow at the strange emphasis in the question which implies they’ve crossed paths before. There is also something peculiar about the man’s expression– guarded, but not fearful, or even shocked by the macabre scene. His focus is wholly on Hannibal, not the disembowelled man strung up in the tree. With that in mind, Hannibal decides not to hex him just yet.
“That’s a rather interesting choice of opening. Have we met?” Hannibal enquires politely. The curly-haired man pauses. His patronus whines in sympathy.
“… I don’t know.”Deep in the bowels of the Forbidden Forest, dark wizard Hannibal Lecter is interrupted in his bloody work by the arrival of Will Graham— a man who can perfectly describe (and deride) his office décor, but doesn’t even know his name.

“Come now, mylimasis,” Hannibal whispered, helping Will to sit upright, leaning against the soft headboard. Will groaned.
Slipping two pills past Will’s pink lips, Hannibal gently tipped Will’s head back and brought the glass to his dry lips.
“There you go,” Hannibal cooed. He set the glass back down after Will swallowed a few sips. Reaching for the towelette, Hannibal pushed Will’s bangs back and placed the towel on the sick man’s forehead.

Summary
Will Graham is a wolf beastman working for Anima City as a criminal profiler. The work can be tedious and gruesome but at the end of the day he has a good life in his shitty apartment with his sort-of-but-not-really daughter, a doe beastman named Abigail Hobbs. This is until a new human killer is suspected to be lurking the borders of the city, mutilating beastmen and displaying them in elaborate ways.
Due to the rising tensions between humans and beastman Will's boss, Jack Crawford, has decided to bring a human psychiatrist onto the team in hopes of resolving these crimes faster and stopping the mobs of protestors.
That is when Will Graham meets Hannibal Lecter for the first time.
