Kyu's eyes widened.

She returned Momo's hug (though not as tightly), and gently pet her hair. "Haha, yeah, happy anniversary... It's hard to believe we've been together for a whole ass year now..." Kyu nervously began. "Um... Want some birthday sex?"
Momo giggled, and pulled back, looking into Kyu's eyes. "No, silly! That comes later! Right now, I want a present!" Momo said, and Kyu's heart sank... then bounced right back up. "I got you one!"
"Y-you got me a present?" Kyu asked with a tinge of excitement.
"Of course!" Momo replied, and hopped off of Kyu, darting off somewhere in the house, before returning a few moments later with her arms full of three gift boxes.
She dumped them all on Kyu, who sat upright in bed and looked down at them, eyes wide.
"Open them!" Momo excitedly said, her tail wagging like crazy behind her.

LowBrowInc wanted to make a HuniePop universe which took on similarities to the Scooby Doo franchise, but put the idea up for adoption. I, The Purple Gentian, adopted the idea and essentially finished a segment of what he tried to begin.
Four girls and a cat make a stop into Dry Gulch, Nevada. Their dynamic is in no way compatible, but they make things work while trying to get to Las Vegas. Their goals are fairly straightforward, but Dry Gulch ends up inconveniencing them just enough that they solve a domestic issue. From there, the domestic issue spirals out of the small town and becomes a Tri-State Conundrum.
Instead of "Whodunnit," it's "Howcatchem."
