Summary
Loki stirred within Yggdrasil, woken by a strange sound. He looked around through the different branches, nothing seemed out of place, the timelines were fine, flourishing even. He then realized he couldn't find Mobius on them, and panic set in. Where is he? Where's Mobius?!
"I'm here." A familiar voice said, and Loki saw a strange blue energy envelop the branches, pulling them from his grasp. The energy fused the branches to Loki's throne, freeing Loki of the need to hold them himself. Loki was confused, what was happening? Who was here to save him? Suddenly the face of his savior came into view, and Loki was shocked.
"Mobius?"

His hands trembled with the need to grab someone by the throat or break some offending object. Other than that, his affected demeanour was as poised as always. Glancing over his shoulder at the half-translucent portal he just walked in through. “How do you think she died? You’re welcome.”
“You solved my problem,” he repeats, certain he couldn’t have heard that right. “The one I was in the process of solving before your pet Logan got involved? That problem?”
“The very same. And I know what you’re thinking. That does feel like a fun thing to have a prolonged argument about when I come back to pick up my dog.”

Loki makes their way to the couch just outside the kitchen and Mobius stays a moment longer to look out their window at the crashing teal waves just beyond the sand path outside their home. He stares, relaxing into the morning atmosphere, before following Loki to plop down on the couch beside them. Loki leans in, resting on Mobius’ shoulder, and takes a sip of their iced drink.
“What should we do today?” Mobius asks.
“The same thing we did yesterday,” Loki answers. “Jet skis,” they whisper through a mischievous smirk, as though this paradise was some sort of plot. Mobius laughs. How could he say no to that?
His alarm clock blares, and Mobius shoots up with a gasp struggling to orient himself to his surroundings. Sweat plasters his tan TVA t-shirt to his skin, dim lights lining the floors switch on automatically with his alarm. No sunlight. No ocean waves. No Loki. Mobius takes a moment to catch his breath, he finally remembers his dream this time, and he knows all the others that had plagued him with this feeling of longing had been the same.Or, Loki has left Mobius to 'let time pass'. What will Mobius do next? How will he get Loki back? How will they defeat Kang?
