What he didn’t expect was for a little girl to be hugging Nikolai’s leg.
She was pale, with eyes that were a very light blue, and long pastel brown hair. Her face was twisted in confusion, and she seemed to be trying to merge with Gogol.
“Let go, little one. I’m dumping you on Siggy now!” The white haired individual chirped. Sigma felt almost as dumbfounded as the girl looked.
“What is the meaning of this?”
Nikolai seemeed like he just remembered that Sigma had not yet been filled in on the situation. “Oh right! Fedya found one more page of the book! Instead of using it to fulfill his vision he made this.” The Jester motions towared the little girl. “I’m sure he has a plan though! And I bet this small human is a part of it!” The whole time he speaks he is trying to pry the said ‘small human’ off of him. “We thought that since you both came from The Book, that you could watch over her until Fedya needs her!”
Sigma was in shock. He wanted to slap himself for it, but the first word that came to mind was ‘Family’.
