Even though things seem to be okay John Dory still can’t help but feel like he ruined everything just in one night. He caused his brothers to separate, for Branch to miss out on having a happy childhood. He caused Floyd to be a solo artist and get recognized in Mount Rageous and soon captured, and almost killed. He’s the reason he doesn’t know his niece and nephews too well. The reason Clay couldn’t hear the word fun without having a melt down.
Sometimes he wishes he could just go back and keep them together. Luckily(or unluckily)for him, a trip to the pond might grant his wish.

John Dory can get used to it, though. He knows he's resiliant like that, at least.
But some time after a worldwide event he'd somehow been left out of, he's made re-aware that he has brothers that he remembers except he doesn't remember except he does— and as confusing as it is, he doesn't care. One of those brothers is in danger, and he needs the rest to save him.
He'll do them all right, even if he doesn't remember how he did them wrong. Even if they still hate him. Will. Still. He doesn't know.
Even if he's different now, he's still gonna try to be their big brother.

So this story spawned from mine and @ijjstlostthegame on tumblr. We coparent the AU. Basically, Creek redemption arc. He's got a sad backstory and he is much less of a creep. Still a manipulative ass in the beginning though. The updates will probably be sporadic.
He knew all of his friends had only become his friends back then because they pitied him. Poor little Creek, barely 4 years old and all on his own after both parents died on Trollstice without even saying goodbye. No! All they left with was, "Stay alive."

another one of my self-indulgent aus. branch was taken in by King peppy after his grandmother was eaten and he and poppy were raised together as siblings. he's still grumpy and paranoid and no one really takes him seriously but because poppy considers him her brother everyone else drags him into their antics and is a bit more inclined to trust him.
I'm not very confident in this one yet and updates might be slow, but if anyone likes it there'll be more to come!
