They discover an increasingly deep connection to the North and are actively pondering the meaning of their place within it. This story is compliant with the events of the series, there may be a few minor differences.

    Drogon disappears with his mother, and the six kingdoms plus the north are still suffering. Bran takes up ruling, but they all soon discover that old horrors are not as dead as they once thought. Meanwhile, Dany wakes on the Dothraki sea, and sets out to find her footing in a world that seems to have no place for dragons. No place, that is, until the past comes calling to ask for help. All of those who remain learn that there are more ghosts in the world then they'd like, and unresolved problems don't simply disappear. As usual, it's politics and horror in Westeros.

    Also, a note about the Jonerys tag: Jonerys is endgame, but this does contain some Daario/Dany early in the story. For more detail please see the conversation with QuantumButterfly in the comments on Ch. 20. Thanks! Also, smut doesn't happen until ch. 27.

    The Stormlands of Westeros. One of the smallest kingdoms of the continent, and one of the most turbulent. The people who lived there were proud, hardy - and at times, quarrelsome.

    For centuries, it and its people were ruled by House Baratheon, whose motto was Ours Is the Fury. But rebellion, treachery, and fratricidal anger destroyed this house, leaving three brothers and their families dead. Some tried to claim control of the Stormlands, but for much of the past eight years, they were all but leaderless.

    However, with the restoration of House Targaryen as rulers of all Westeros, the new High King and Queen have appointed a new High Lord of the Stormlands - an unknown young man, the bastard son, now legitimized, of the infamously licentious and dissolute King Robert Baratheon. He would be joined by his wife, the infamous daughter of a great house of the North. She was the subject of many dark tales of how she had pursued vengeance and justice for her wronged family in the years of war and danger.

    Now, the highborn and smallfolk alike await the arrival of their new High Lord and Lady, as they travel to an unknown land to them - a land that, whether for good or ill, will be their new home.

Although I wasn’t exactly a fan of the way the writers chose to end their story (let’s be honest, who was??), I’ve stuck to canon and have added a few scenes that I'd like to imagine happened off-screen and put a positive/bittersweet spin on it so fans can look back on show-Braime without much bitterness or anger (that’s the aim, anyway).     Their son grows restless in Meereen. Draco craves adventure and knowledge. On one of his travels, he is found by Drogon. The ancient beast bonds to him and Draco feels the fire he knew Daenerys once felt. He sails to Dragonstone, where he is greeted by a fiery woman of vast knowledge and cunning. Sent by Maester Dumbledore, it is quickly realized she was used as a means to remove Draco’s threat to the crown; there can only be one King. With both Draco and Harry having strong claims, the seven kingdoms are divided in loyalty. Do they keep the peace that has reigned since the Starks took over over a century ago, or do they follow the strongest claim to the crown?
