Summary
Kit is happy. He has his two siblings(Kiran and Ayan) who are more like his kids, he has his farm, and his friends who live not to far from him. Their names are Cut Lawquane, his wife, Suu, and their kids Jek and Shaeeah. Things have been good, the crops are growing nicely and so are the twins. Then everything changes. Kit leaves Kiran and Ayan with Suu while he and Cut travel into town to sell their crops. When they get back everything seems normal until they enter the barn and find a man who does not seem happy to be here and even less happy to see Cut, calling him a deserter. This will certainly be an interesting night. Sure hope it doesn’t all go to shit.

The Federation has ended up in some kind of (cold) war with the Gorn. Pike, clearly not being wartime captain material, has been given a desk job or alternatively shipped off on the Enterprise to explore topical romance in space. Meanwhile, Batel and Una lead a reconnaissance mission into Gorn space on the smallest, jankiest ship ever designed to hold atmosphere. And of course, per the prompts of Star Trek Femslash Week 2023, There Is Only One Bed, they get Trapped In A Turbolift, and many other delightful tropes.

He can still feel Spock’s counterpart’s fingers on his face, and now, though it should be impossible, he can feel them on other parts of his skin too.
