Mulder realizes she’s going to kiss him about half a second before it happens, her lips pressing against his, warm and dry. It’s gentle at first, chaste even, but then she’s running her tongue across his lower lip and he’s opening his mouth under hers. She makes a quiet noise deep in the back of her throat and moves even closer to him, pressing her body flush against his.
