At first, you don’t know what to make of him. He’s efficient, eerily perceptive, and far too polite for your liking. His unwavering curiosity about human behavior, his attempts to understand humor, and his unexpected wit make it difficult to see him as just another machine. The more time you spend with Connor, the more blurred the line becomes. It's not just him and Sumo anymore, and the thought is comforting. However, Sumo's old age one day manifests itself in a most worrying shape, which is when it comes to Hank's attention that the two androids have never considered the eventuality of losing a loved one.
