Summary
We search for meaning. We look for purpose. We find faith and run from it.
"Gavin Reed was a dick first. Beautiful second."
Post-peaceful android revolution, Detective Gavin Reed has a new case: The son of the mayor was murdered. And not only that, but the chaotic private investigator & spiritual adviser Avery Fox stumbles into his crime scene, and now they have to work together, and he has to do his best trying to avoid catching feelings for her.
"You’re not a burden for needing support"
One year after Avery’s first day in the precinct, the duo has to work a case that stirs up Avery’s traumatic past. Two women were drowned. Is there a serial killer at work? Can Avery admit to catching feelings not just for her grumpy detective colleague but also for her Android one? Why is Reed trying to hide his past from her?
"I am not failing another person I swore to protect.“
or
lots of rain, even more banter & your favorite trope slow (!!!) burn. This story is about trauma, how it changes us, and how we can learn to adapt to a life after. Oh, and there are paranormal elements.

Summary
Hank plopped Connor on his lap and gently pressed a hand to the android's stomach, the synthetic skin retracting and giving way to the chrome shell. Hank pushed slightly and slid the hatch under Connor's shell.
Hank bit his tongue as he looked at the components, trying to decipher what the fuck everything was.
Hank looked up at Connor, "So, what's wrong, kid?"
Connor swallowed, nervous. He looked away and mumbled, "Uh… It's just my, uh. One of my oxygen processors…" He gestured vaguely to his chest, where human lungs would be.
His LED cycled yellow and stayed that hue.
Hank shifted slightly, nodding. "M'kay… Alright."
Connor's eyes flickered all over Hank's body, looking, scanning for an stress or discomfort. None.
Hank did not know.
CyberLife android's weren't really made to feel pain, and, for some reason, they stopped there. Maybe Kamski was a perverted bastard. Based on what Connor remembered from his visit, it would not surprise Connor at all.
If not pain, then pleasure.

Summary
He wanted to call out of work. But he didn’t. He knew he would only add to the wounds if he stayed home.
Gavin had tried, really tried to put on a wide smile and not use his wrist much and wear a turtleneck at his desk. But the moment he saw Connor’s deep frown and angry eyes and clenched fist, walking quickly to Fowler’s office, he knew he was screwed.
“Detective Reed!” He heard Fowler call from across the room, quieting the entire office. Gavin slowly raised his eyes to the man. "My office. Now."
Letting out a long suffering sigh, he got up from his chair (leaning on his less wounded side) and walked methodically so as to not limp.
Or: Gavin is on a descent to self destruction that Connor refuses to witness.

Summary
After the peaceful android revolution, where Markus and Connor were able to start bringing equality and rights to their people, the time comes to celebrate the holidays. Hank invites Connor (and, by extension, his revolutionary boyfriend) to spend the Christmas season with him and Sumo, not realizing that Connor has never celebrated before. Connor, built for logic and science, starts to learn the magic of Christmas and family. Markus, growing equally devoted to Connor as he is to the freedom of his people, learns how deep the bond between Connor and Hank goes.
Christmas time fluff with lots of gentle/subtle flirting between Connor and Markus, and lots of protective/loving dad Hank. :)

Summary
After the Revolution, Detroit slowly established a new Status Quo. Even total assholes had to admit that there might be something to androids being alive, so Gavin Reed had decided. Which did not mean he was at all fine with Fowler assigning RK900 as his parter. Android or no, Gavin didn't do well with partners and his penchant for insults and violent outburst was no secret. RK900, determined to do a good job and integrate well into his new precinct would counter Gavin's behavior and ensure that he would be respected.
Unfortunately for everyone, the matter spiraled wildly out of control from that point. -
