As you can see, Zeus thinks it's a funny joke. It kind of is because they all suck at it.

Summary
“How long were you there?” A long pause. Odysseus still wide eyed, staring blankly in front of him. As the silence grew, Telemachus almost asked again before a whisper cut through the silence. “7 years.”
When Odysseus gets home, he struggles with what has happened to him. Particularly with what she did. When he gets overwhelmed by his memories, he breaks down and tells his family just what he went through to get home to them. What he endured, and in turn learns how he got off the forsaken island in the first place. Just who exactly helped him and finds comfort in the fact that his family will always be there to catch him when he feels like falling into the dark pit he is sure he deserves to be in.
Athena is sure that after she tells them just what she did to help Odysseus they will reject her as their patron. She clearly wasn't strong enough so how could they ever want her as their goddess. She hopes they will at least let her train Telemachus. Maybe then she will redeem herself and be able to sleep at night.
This is a story of found family, love, acceptance, and healing.

Fully based on the song "I Can't Help But Wonder" which was the start of my emotional breakdown before the last song of this masterpiece of a musical.

Also the gods are watching, hence the title.

Summary
Gods were not meant to die. They were manifestations of concepts, they weren’t meant to pass on unless the idea they were made from became obsolete, and even then they simply went dormant. Though, Gods also weren’t supposed to debase themselves for the lives of mortals, so perhaps it was only fitting that one impossibility followed another.
And perhaps it only made sense that the Gods wouldn’t accept their newfound mortality.

In a haze of regret and grief, Zeus becomes frantic and desperate to fix his mistake. He enlists his brother Hades and Prometheus to help revive Athena, but their solution is crude. They aren’t powerful enough to bring her back unchanged, and to keep things like her immortality intact, other things need to be sacrificed. Most noticeable of which, was her age. Perhaps though, this is an opportunity to make things better then they ever were.

After regaining consciousness, Athena tries to come to terms with just what her father has done to her, even if the answers Poseidon can give are not necessarily those she would like to hear.

After Athena bravely fights for Odysseus, Hermes realizes that he needs to ensure his great-grandson’s freedom and safe return home. His family needs his help, and he makes a solemn vow to himself- he will get Odysseus home safely, no matter what.
Basically the immediate aftermath of the wisdom saga, the vengeance saga, and the ithaca saga from Hermes’ point of view! First chapter is immediately god games but it will go all the way to the ithaca saga and have an epilogue!
