Summary
Paladin Danse had always been a confident person, and authoritarian to a fault, even before the Brotherhood of Steel gave him a nearly indestructible suit of metal armor and a loaded gun and let him play God in a world where a God didn't seem to exist. When he woke up in the morning and looked in the mirror he knew exactly what he would see looking back, and it was this fact and few others that brought him comfort; he had always known what he was, what was important.
Then Nora had found him, like a tempest drawn to the calm of an island's shore, and suddenly his disciplined way of thinking didn't seem like enough.
Follows the BOS plot line with some minor divergence; super slow burn.

Summary
Two months after helping the Brotherhood destroy the Institute, killing her son in the process, Sentinel Marigold Bergman is still struggling to come to terms with her new life, as well as the extent of her losses. At the same time, Elder Maxson finds himself wrestling with feelings he hasn't experienced since his youth, distracting him from the Brotherhood's plans in the Commonwealth.
Alternating perspective, medium burn Maxson/Female Sole Survivor fic, takes place roughly two months after the Brotherhood ending of the main quest. Slightly AU in that Synth Shaun doesn’t exist – and to be quite honest, I’ll probably play hard and fast with some aspects of the world, depending on my whims and how the story shapes up.
I have a few Brotherhood OC side characters who will pop in and out.

Summary
With the Institute quite literally obliterated and her son returned to her side, Ashtyn Jones thought her quest was finally over. But, as her first story came to a close, Arthur Maxson's haunting speech did nothing to calm her nerves. Knowing the Commonwealth would never be safe for her son or Danse as long as Elder Maxson controlled the Brotherhood of Steel, Ash has decided to devise a plan to put a stop to him... Permanently. Unfortunately, Fate hasn't been kind to her so far, and it has no intentions of letting go.
There are a few things she is certain of, however... Her love for her family, her desire to do what she believes is right, and her stubborn pledge to stop at nothing until those close to her are safe once and for all. She sits now in the eye of the hurricane, the center of the storm, and things are going to get a lot fucking worse before they got better.
Because, war? Well, war never changes.

Unfortunately, rather than welcoming skilled, committed new brothers and sisters, the Brotherhood of Steel finds itself overwhelmed by apathetic, trigger-happy recruits who care almost as little for its teachings as they do for the fate of the world itself. After a cruel prank orchestrated by new recruits pushes him over the edge, Maxson vows to personally vet every single potential new member before allowing them to enter his ranks, and begins a seemingly thankless task that takes him all over the Commonwealth. Well, as good old doc Cade says, it gets him out and about a bit. And if he finds time to do a little soul-searching, or even fall in love? That's just a bonus, isn't it?
