A 50th birthday is a significant milestone for a mortal.
The werewolves and vampires are meeting up for Anton's 50th birthday barbecue. It should be a night of partying, karaoke, and friendly ribbing between the two groups; however, no matter how he tries to mask it, Viago is forlorn.
His mind is burdened with anxieties stemming from his good friend's mortality. Anton, likewise, is seeming a bit brooding. As the birthday do goes on, both friends begin to spiral.
Tonight may just be the night for confessions— for Anton, about how he feels, and for Viago... something from the past that he's done.

Despues de que Deacon hace enojar a una bruja accidentalmente convierte a viago en un niño, aunque la maldición o sea lo que sea que le haya hecho a viago iba principalmente para Deacon, porque si iba a actuar como un niño, entonces sería un niño, era para que aprendiera a madurar de nuevo, pero lamentablemente el hechizo le cayó al pobre de Viago, aunque no fue tan "accidente" ya que Deacon lo utilizó como escudo.
Vladislav, Deacon y Nick tratan de convencer a la bruja de que vuelva a Viago a su yo adulto, pero la bruja avergonzada dice que no se puede y que lamentablemente Viago tendrá que volver a crecer.

“Stay behind you?” Viago echoes. “Anton. I am a vampire. I do not need to stay behind you.”
Anton knows this is technically true, in the same way that he knows Viago is technically much older than him, and stronger-in-a-different-way than him. He still feels this protective urge over him, this desire to guard him, this— this need to keep him safe, because he loves him, which was the whole point of this camping trip, to— to show Viago the place he loves most, and sit him down under the stars, and tell him he’s in love with him.
If that means he has to fight off some random creature in the woods first, it’s worth it. Viago is worth every second of every day.
