Bucky woke up from a restful sleep to the sweet sound of silence. Warm rays of sunlight flooded through the large windows in his room. He turned over in his bed to find Sam sitting next to him, typing away on his laptop. The same scene every morning for the past week. Bucky smiled. It was perfect.
“Good morning, Sammy.”
“Hey sleepyhead.” Sam put his laptop aside, leaning down to plant a tender kiss on Bucky’s lips. “I can’t stay long. John and I are heading out.”
Bucky pouted. He was sure it looked childish but he didn’t care.
Sam laughed. “It’ll just be a few hours, man. Then you have me to yourself the rest of the day.”
Bucky flipped over on his back with his hands behind his head. A boyish grin fixed on his face. He couldn’t help it. Having Sam here in the Tower with him changed everything.
Perfect, he mused. It’s all so perfect.

The boys head to Wakanda to help an ailing John while the girls (and Alexei) go on a mission that uncovers a secret web of lies.

Confused, Bob blinked at him. He hadn’t expected the man to address him unless it was absolutely necessary, but there was nobody else in the room he could be speaking to. Also, he didn’t understand the question.
“What suitcase?” He said, following up immediately in case he sounded like an idiot: “I didn’t bring a suitcase.”
John stared at him as if he had announced he had flown here directly from Mars.
“This is a six-week programme.” He said, slowly, in case Bob didn’t understand, “There’s no way you managed to fit six weeks’ worth of clothes into that thing.”
Bob shrugged.

Things were okay.
Well, not okay. Sam’s team was suing Valentina to smithereens to change her team’s name, and most of the New Avengers, Walker especially, beefed with him because of it. They beefed with Bucky, too, sometimes, for doing nothing to stop his partner’s lawsuit. But at home, things were okay, and that’s what mattered.
The thing is, Sam and Bucky weren’t home right now. Instead of having a cozy movie night as they’d planned, they had both spent the past two hours leading their respective people in minimizing the threat of a dimensional rift that had been ripped open in the Hudson River.
In spite of their efforts to avoid interaction between their two groups, in emergencies like this, it was a no-brainer. They were stronger united than divided.
Or at least, that’s what Bucky had said to pacify Walker’s whining complaints about the situation.-
Bucky gets a migraine after a rare New Avengers joint mission with Captain America and Falcon. Sam feels their work and home lives momentarily blur together.

Plus Riley- not just his bunkmate, not just his partner, but his best friend. His wingman.

In other words, a look at Sam's relationship with flight and the people who flew beside him.(Basically I realized there's a lot of parallels between Riley and Joaquín and then realized he saw Rhodes get shot down too and went 'hmmm he's witnessed a lot of people die/get critically injured with no way to save them despite his best efforts... wouldn't it be a shame if someone were to... write about that')

A fourteen year old girl who had blood on her hands before she even made double digits, who can bend and create fire has to now fit into the family who is nothing but normal.
Steve Rodger's never expected to be a father, especially not to an enhanced teenage assassin and agent but nevertheless he falls inlove with the kind hearted, funny and sweet girl that lays underneath the walls she has put up due to the years of hardship.
And who knows maybe she will find her special someone... after all even assassins deserve to find love.
