Eridan’s bloodthumper squeezed hard in his chest. He missed talking with Feferi and he hated Sollux for poaching her. He could only imagine them happy and flushed together, Feferi daring to fall so low as to pail with a low blood, a land dweller, sullying her beautiful fuschia with that disgusting shade of mustard yellow. This is some seriously self-indulgent stuff where I basically had fun with the idea of an anthropologist and an alien history teacher falling in love. A lot of weird shit is about to go down. This is a slow burn because I legitimately got caught up in writing exchanges.

You still can’t quite believe it either, but god, you’ve already waited far too long for this. You can’t waste a single goddamn moment.
