In a dystopian Fate-like world run by a brutal dictatorship called the World Government, Fujioka Legoshi finds out he is incompatible with the spirit-summoning ritual to receive a servant companion known as a Shyrntai. Everyone else has one, including his best friend Jack! Without a Shyrntai, Legoshi is deemed unworthy to be counted as a regular citizen, and loses everything he owned as well as everyone he loved, forced to become what is known as a Nothing. Nothings are animals in society without citizenship, employment, wealth, and even a name. They live away from normal society in a place called the Mansion of Nothingness. It is a dog-eat-dog world out there and no citizen of the World Government trusts the Nothings. If you help them, you can be executed for treason. Legoshi has no choice but to succumb to cheating, deception, and stealing in order to survive. In doing so, Fujioka Legoshi dies and a new Legoshi takes his place, one who has to protect his own above all else.

Sanu reveals that the club will further introduce themselves through every teen's favourite game Dodgeball. Everyone is excited for the game aside from Louis, although after an unprecedented attack by Sanu, Louis is all for the game and revenge on Sanu which he already has done to an extent. The club will head to the gymnasium to play after Dom assigns every male member to their lockers in the change room and Sheila likewise with the girls. Louis and Legoshi are silently becoming interested in one another and Louis is curious to chat with the grey wolf. Tem introduces himself to Legoshi and Kai. After locker room shenanigans, Dom finally finishes the assigning and Legoshi is the last to be assigned a locker, right beside the two animals he's making quick friends with Tem and Kai. Once out of the change room, he's approached by Bill who is all for the carnivores over herbivores like Louis. Legoshi's taken a liking to Louis and not to the Bengal as Louis is discussing the club members with Mokichi, Kibi, Sheila and Tem. Louis finally heads over about to speak with Legoshi when Ells emerges from the change room and the club heads to the gym with Louis left speechless. He'll likely catch up with Legoshi on the way to the gym.
