Summary
After Clementine finds herself dead, she wakes up in a different world... one where the dead never started walking. However, nobody else seems to remember the reality that had been her life until then. All that she can do is try to fit in with the rest of this new place, which proves to be harder than it sounds. Familiar faces will return, but not quite the same as they were in the post apocalyptic universe. Meanwhile, back in her old world, the kids must cope with her death and learn how to survive without such a key ingredient to survival. How will they do it?
So, basically it's sort of like an AU except Clem remembers the apocalypse.
This is a Louis x Clem thing!

Violet’s head snapped up in surprise. Louis had turned to look at her; his immortal and increasingly infuriating smile still intact.
“Wait. I think I might know,” he continued, teasingly.
“Whatever,” she countered, but didn’t make a move to continue down the ladder.
“Um hmm,” Louis mumbled, taking a few steps over to her. “Let me think. Whose cute and cool and recently come to our school? – Hey, that rhymes! Ha. ….But seriously, who is it? They might have recently been in a car crash maybe. Has a kid who bites. ….Oh, I know -”
Violet hadn't meant to like Clementine. In fact, she had tried very hard not to. But feelings, it seemed, were stupid, disobedient things, and now Violet found that she not only liked Clementine, but she thought there was a very real, slightly terrifying possibility that she might even like-like her, as Louis would say. So with all these new feelings and with raiders threatening to bash down their gates, what the hell was Violet going to do?

Violet barely manages to grab a conveniently placed bucket on the floor before sticking it in front of Clementine, who immediately proceeds to projectile vomit into the metal container. Violet winces as Clementine continues to heave, making a mental note to make sure whoever cleans this bucket cleans it extra well before they use it to collect fish again.

Thankfully, a group of misfits takes her in as their own. Now, all she has to deal with are small-town idiots, corrupt authority, and an infuriating boy that makes her chest hurt in the best possible way.Can this party of lost-causes break down her walls?
Can a certain freckled goofball teach her it's okay to not be okay?

Because she was one herself: a monster with fire in her breath, and eyes that burned her own Hell. She drank for her life. She drank to forget.

Grieveing over his friend's death wasn't something Louis even thought he'd experience. To make it even more confusing he still has feelings for a girl who's arrival to the school eventually led to Marlon's death.
If God existed, he had even more weird sence of humor than Louis himself.
