My brain wrote fanfiction of my OCS while I was sleeping. The oc hyperfixation is growing now they're appearing in my dreams in the worst way possible.
Ever since their mutual friend left, something in Cactie changed. He had grown possessive of the other girl his friend left behind, Lucinda, and their new friend, Finn. It was ignorable at first, but eventually no one could ignore it. Lucinda's boyfriends/dates would abruptly break up with her talking about Cactie threatening them with his nailed bat, or Finn's new friends suddenly avoiding him for the same reason.
Now 16, Lucinda still desires the feeling of a relationship, and wishes to know about the experience of sex. Cactie would never allow her to have a relationship let alone have sex, and to keep Lucinda from leaving him, he offers to date her. Lucinda agrees. Yet it feels more like friends with benefits.
Just like any other action, they have consequences, and their decisions aren't an exception.

Commander Edennion has a history of quick and terrible flings, and a laundry list of insecurities because of it. One of her flings, Logan Thackeray, just so happens to be a vital asset in the most recent crisis she's experiencing: One of her co-commanders went down in the airship fleet along with the Marshal, Trahearne. With no choice but to negotiate with him, she resolves to at least amuse herself by messing with him. However, her most recent partner, and most serious relationship she's had so far, doesn't take her playing around nearly as lighthearted as she'd hoped.

Vash was just glad the people of Inepril were safe and that their plant was stable again. He’d ended his stay there on a good note, and it was one that he preferred to leave on.
If Vash got lucky, which in his experience was a very big if, they would assume he'd departed on the sand steamer instead of leaving town on foot. If they did, that would throw the insurance girls off his trail as well.
Vash really didn’t want their “twenty-four hour" surveillance. Meryl and Milly were persistent and dangerously sharp. After what they’d seen in Inepril they’d start asking questions, and they’d be questions that Vash either couldn’t or wouldn’t answer.

What if in the setting of Trigun '98, aboard the SEEDS Mothership, something terrible had happened in its history? Rem had been there for it, and also Steve. They are newly awakened as part of a regular crew-rotation and it was the luck of the draw that along with fresh crew-members that neither of them had met before, that they would be working together again. They were both witnesses to Project Tesla, one in opposition to the experiments, one a participant in them who was "just following orders."
What if, when new unexpected passengers show up, one will do everything to protect them, racked with guilt over having failed to save their predecessor? What if the other has his own, less healthy responses to his own feelings of guilt?
And what if, through this all, messy, technically-illegal fraternisation complicates matters even further?
