Sans, eldest son of well known Scientist W.D. Gaster, never intended on finding anything at that stupid tent. It was full of bright colors and overwhelming smells and noises. He was sent there because Papyrus wanted to go see the circus and Gaster didn't want to deal with him.
But then, a flame caught his eye. Flying through the air with surprising grace and landing effortlessly in the center of the ring; Sans found himself unable to take his eyes off of the boy. And then... all of the other overwhelming issues of the night dissapeared.

Gaster had became a constant in his life faster than many of his oldest regulars. The scientist will come every morning around 7:30, order a black coffee and leave, no additions and definitely no small talk, always in some kind of auto-imposed rush. it was nice to be able to say hi, but nothing else was allowed, and even there were days where he was actually lucky to receive a response to his greeting. However, around 9:30 in the evening he would show up again, less frenetic and looking more close to be a zombie than a monster made of magic, take a seat in the counter and order the same things, a cupcake and black coffee. And they will talk until no one remained inside but them, and then a little more.
