“Kaveh, you’ll have to rent a house or dorm if you’re gonna go to the Akademiya for college,” Kaveh’s dad reminded him at dinner.
But he still had to get a place to stay. And the thought hit him like a train.
“I could rent a place in Gardharva Ville!” He exclaimed.
“Oh yeah, the village is the closest one to the Akademiya, besides dorms,” Kaveh’s mother mentioned.
“Since our old house was a duplex, do you think it’d be up for rent?” Kaveh asked excitedly.
“It was rented about two times by other people before, maybe after dinner you can- Hey, Kaveh! You haven’t finished your food!” Kaveh’s dad called after him.
“I’m sorry! I just really want to see!” Kaveh shouted back.
“I think we can tell, sweetie,” His mom chuckled.

Kaveh and Alhaiham, almost inseparable, had to lose contact when Kaveh's family moved to another city a long distance away due to money issues. They both live their lives, changing quite a lot without the other able to be there for them. When Kaveh is determined to go to college, his parents insist he looks at living options, which leads him to look at his old, duplex house for an option.
