This plot bunny came to me when Rythana, sutsop and I had movie night and we watched Star Trek (2009). In the year 2231, 73 years after the destruction of the Reaper threat, The Alliance Navy is made up of more than just humans; Krogan, Drell, Quarian, Asari, Turian, if you can contribute, you're welcome. When something happens to the Enterprise, they find themselves stuck in a completely different timeline than the one they were used to. Ella Shepard and Kaidan Alenko's twenty-four year old granddaughter is now the Commander of the Normandy SR-3, a Spectre and everything her Grandmother could ever hope for. What will happen when so many unknowns are thrown between these two very different cultures?

Summary
It has been almost over a year since the destruction of the Reapers and the end of a war that threatened almost all of creation in the Milky Way. While the galaxy continues to repair not only from the damage the Reapers caused but also the pulse that caused their complete shutdown and damaged the Mass Effect Relays, some semblance of normalcy has returned to the galactic community. Thanks in part to the Citadel's expedited reconstruction effort and the continued work of the Normandy's crew to preserve the galactic unity that the twin Shepards worked to create during the Reaper War, just as the late Cassian Shepard would want of them.
But, as seems to be common these past four years of galactic history, that normalcy is set to come to an end as someone returns from the dead for a second time in his life. Hopefully, that won't become a common occurrence.

Chapter XIV: Leviathan:
They track the signal to the remote Despoina.
She takes the plunge.
Garrus, understandably, isn’t happy with this idea.
“Should we not think about this a bit more clearly?” he hisses to her in a stage whisper whilst Cortez and Tali analyse the mech, ensuring it will handle the pressure so far down after years at mercy to the elements.
“It’s our only option at this point,” she hisses back, double checking the seals on her armour. She’s taken her helmet off to feel the breeze before she braves the confining air of the mech, and her hair is plastered to her head thanks to the torrential rain.
“I don’t like your odds down there alone.”
“Have you got a better idea?”
“I don’t, but -”
“Garrus.” She stops him with a hand on the scarred side of his face. “I’ll be fine.”
He says nothing, but clutches at her hand, holding it there and closing his eyes.
She presses her forehead to his, kisses his scars, and enters the mech, helmet on once more. She pilots it to the edge of the wreck, does her final checks, takes a deep breath, and jumps into the water.

Evune Lavellan was sitting in the Exalted Council chamber when the Seeker swarms came, but not everyone survived the Collector base...
This is a headcanon of what I believe would happen if The Inquisitor and Shepard met, set in the Mass Effect timeline. I believe if these two Heroes ever joined forces and worked together that War itself would tremble in it's boots.
It's canon that the Thedosian planet is in the Mass Effect universe, so what I have cooked up isn't as far-fetched as "crossover anarchists" would think.
