Summary
Something flickered between Link and Zelda in the aftermath of the Spring of Power.
Neither of them spoke of what transpired. How Link had heard Zelda’s breaking point, how she had cursed the goddess – actually cursed her – for refusing to answer her prayers. She hadn’t realized he had turned from his post until he was wading toward her, his boots sloshing in the water and his pants soaking up to his knees. His eyes had not torn from hers. She had not spoken a word.
Instead, he had simply held out his arms, and she had fallen into them.

Summary
In a Hyrule that has just entered an armistice, tensions between the Gerudo and Hylians are still high. Zelda's Triforce abilities have only recently awakened and now she's been forced outside of the castle and into the three different springs of the Golden Goddesses. She has been told it's to better connect herself with the three Goddesses and ensure that peace is kept. However, all she feels is that her time could be spent elsewhere.
Everything changes when Ganondorf runs off from the safety of Gerudo Valley and shows Hyrule that there has been a male Gerudo born after a thousand years. Swirls of untold prophecies begin to spread. Distrust rises as the Gerudo continue to seclude themselves from the rest of Hyrule along with their secrets. Meanwhile, The Yiga clan works in the shadows to bring a period of darkness using all means necessary.
When Zelda and Ganondorf are pushed together they find themselves in a pool of complicated feelings of what they are meant to be and what they want to be. As demise looms over the world, they must ask what they would do for themselves and each other; what their part of the Triforce is, and what they will sacrifice to keep it; and if they can end the cycle of reincarnation.

Summary
Zelda and Link, Link and Zelda, bound to their fates and yet always yearning for something more in their lives. With Calamity looming over the fate of Hyrule, in the Spring of Strength and Power they beseech before Hylia the resolve to pull through the coming trials, and moreover, the wisdom to see the oneness of their lives, etched into the stoneworks of the Sheikah.
A reimagining of Memory 13, "Slumbering Power," from Breath of the Wild that uses the cutscene as a springboard for an exploration of the characters of Link and Zelda, the world of Hyrule, and the interaction to be found with destiny and selfhood in the Legend of Zelda.
