Izuku Midoriya is raised by the Shie Hassaikai after months of being on his own, and left behind by the only person he had let in after Kacchan left him. He comes to learn that family means little more than those who you continue to protect and stand beside, no matter the cost.
Shifting the fates of those around him and continuing to be a brother, son, or nephew to those he chooses. Izuku reforms Hero Society, changes the yakuza, and takes down those who would harm those he loves with little more than a gun and gall to do so.

This is it. He tried to keep himself alive after Overhaul saved him — well, mostly — and this is all it ever amounted to. Just another dead body on the streets who'll have his story told by Monday morning. Maybe, if he'd tried a little harder, he could've been one of those criminals that gets famous and has entire movies directed after their legacy. Maybe he could have made it big, but instead he's just gonna die here. Alone. Forgotten by everyone, because they're all going down like him eventually.
Still, he's not going down without a fight. He clutches tight at his broken blade, thinks one hit might be enough if he manages to drive the blade in deep, and maybe he'll have to sacrifice himself, but if it means Hojo and Tabe get to escape, then he doesn't mind it as much.
Saved after a mission gone wrong, Setsuno understands a few new things about Mimic.

Overall, if there was anyone the leader of the Shie Hassaikai could trust as a right hand man, it would be Shin himself. He knew this without a doubt. He was good at coming to conclusions, fighting, thinking, planning, responding, deciding who was right and wrong. He was good at it all, and that made him better.
So why was it that he could never figure out his own emotions, let alone anyone else's?
