Dear Theseus,
No matter how many times I wash my hands, your blood continues to stain my skin. The smell of iron fills my nose and the phantom weight of your body when I had held you lingers. Every time I close my eyes, I see my sword going through your chest, again, and again, and again.
The white of your shirt was stained with red. I can still feel the weight of the sword in my hand, the leather hilt, and the resistance it met sliding through your skin and ribcage.
That sword is broken into many pieces now, I can't bear to look at it. Look at the instrument of my mistakes.
No. That's not right. The sword killed you, but I was wielding it. I should have known better, should have had a better grip on my emotions. I'm your eldest brother; it was my duty to protect you.

Still, it called him home.
Tommy picked up the violin and began to play.
Or, Tommy and Techno are brothers in every lifetime. The difference? Tommy could not remember, and Techno could never forget.

Fresh out of college, he had barely settled into his job as a detective, but his reputation for being skilled beyond his years had followed him into the precinct. After only a year, he'd cracked a murder case that stumped seasoned detectives. He had been a minor player on that case, barely noticed by the others. But it was him—Techno—who pieced it all together. His biggest achievement yet.
Now, though, he was back to the sidelines, helping on minor cases while the more established detectives got the ones he really wanted. The ones that mattered. Techno could feel it—like an itch under his skin—he needed more.

“Thanks,” Techno deadpans, glaring at the blonde teen from his peripheral vision.
He doesn't even have to look to know that Tommy is here, the child who somehow finds it the most entertaining thing to enter this coffee shop and bother him over absolutely anything. It was like he has nothing better to do, which probably is true.
“I think,” Tommy puts his hands on his hips. “You should take a break.”

When Tommy fell, it felt like he was flying.
Somewhere in the blurry haze, he thought he saw wings of obsidian, those of Phil's, ready to catch him. Or perhaps, he imagined being held by Techno's strong arms, cradled and safe.

Summary
Technoblade has always tried his hardest to be a good brother and caretaker for Tommy. It was just them versus the world, but the burden of Tommy's slowly declining health has led to severe financial strain over the years. In the past, Techno has turned to an unorthodox form of employment to make money, working as a soldier in the annual deadly Games that pit people against one another in hopes of winning the life-altering cash prize in the end. After a few years of service, Techno swears off the Games for good, determined to live his life without the need to kill anyone else.
That is, until one day Tommy's health finally fails him, and Techno is forced to return once more to make enough money to afford the surgery to save his brother's life.
He had just never expected that, during said Game, he would look down his scope and find his own brother as a player.

I don't think so. In my world, humans and dinosaurs exist. Yes you read that right. On a very remote island is where the very first and only dinosaur park sits. Jurassic Land, home of the dinosaurs.
I just so happen to have gotten tickets from my dad for my birthday. Another plus, my older brother, Techno, works there. I haven't seen him in forever.
A whole island full of dinosaurs and tourists...whatever could go wrong?
Or, cTommy goes to Jurassic Land with Phil, Tubbo, and Ranboo and meet up with his older brother Techno who's working on a top secret project.

A strange business card appears at their apartment door in a small metal tin, a day after Techno had left. The card was made of a thin cardboard and was inked with a circle, triangle and square.
Tommy fiddled with it, turning it around to find a fine print reading of a phone number. A note lay beneath the card hidden at the bottom of the tin.

“And stay the fuck out!” Phil snarled, throwing Tommy out of the house along with a suitcase filled with Tommy’s things. “I don’t need a useless kid like you living rent-free under my household.” Phil stared coldly at Tommy, his voice laced with venom.
“D-dad..” Tommy sobbed out. Tommy’s eyes frantically looked at Techno, his brother, his eyes practically begging Techno to help him. Techno looked sternly as he broke the eye contact, walking away.
“Please! I won’t survive out-”
“Then don’t survive!” Phil yelled at Tommy, cutting him off. “I’d rather you die than have to call you my son ever again.” Phil slammed the door harshly.
Tommy stumbled backward, clutching the suitcase against his chest as the door slammed shut with a force that rattled the house. The bitter wind bit at his face, mixing with the tears that streamed down his cheeks.
