Summary
Before Walter took on the three brides of Klopstock family, Billington family and Alexander family to gain control over all of them and gain power, there was one other woman who had caught Walter DeVille’s attention, that made him feel the need to make her his before another man could take her hand in marriage. Walter felt the strong urge to make this young woman his own, that way he can control her and mold her to be his perfect wife. Unfortunately, the young woman who Walter had his eyes on, didn’t want to become his wife and is willing to do anything to get away. When she becomes successful in escaping him, Walter takes on three brides to try and forget about her. But what happens when Evie and her friend show up at his manor, and Walter catches a glimpse of the friend realizing that she is a descendant of the original bride that he originally was going to marry? Will Walter continue to pursue Evie to gain control over the Alexander family and keep both Lucy and Viktoria as his brides, or will he ditch all three and go for the descendant of the his original bride, Colette Winters?

Summary
Walter was promised a virgin, the youngest daughter of Mina and Jonathan Harker. Only things didn’t go according to plan, and the youngest Harker daughter, Victoria Harker had unexpectedly gotten pregnant, Walter becomes enraged. But shortly after Mina and Jonathan find out that their daughter Victoria is due to give birth to a baby girl, they promise her hand in marriage to Walter. Upon finding out about her daughter’s fate, Victoria chooses the hard decision to hide her daughter in plain sight where no one thinks to find her.
Years later, Victoria’s only daughter runs away after finding out the horrors that await her, making a sweet escape to America, where she befriends the one and only Evie Jackson. Only things don’t stay peaceful for long, because the past has a way of finding you and catching up. Only this time, Evie’s life is on the line, and it’s up to Brooke to make the decision to either save Evie or let her die at the hands of her nightmare.
