Reincarnation wasn't really in the plan for an Earth University student, especially not when he's being dropped into a world that he knows has a time limit before its potential destruction: Remnant. That time limit is especially worrying once he realizes he's trapped in the body of a toddler.
Tasked with his self-appointed quest and armed with the knowledge of the show, Scott Ophiuchus Ishvaltar must find ways to prepare himself and those he cares about for Salem, her minions, and the end of the world as they know it.

Summary
Team RWBY and Jaune arrive when they need to be on the outskirts of Vacuo. There they will face themselves, and the nightmare of Salem's final push. Will they come together and be able to work as a team? Can Vacuo be saved? Can Salem be defeated? What are the final secrets are yet to be revealed?
Welcome to my attempt to write a finale for Ruby. My goal here was simple: To pay off as much as possible from the series itself and write a relatively satisfactory conclusion to the series. There will be major character deaths, including some fan favorites. No Character death was taken lightly.
I hope it'll be a fun ride for the audience with a few fun surprises.
Chapter 1 is a summation of the road so far for those who've forgotten or aren't as familiar and a brief character summation, again, because RWBY has a ton of characters, many of whom play into the finale.
Finally, I'll be moderating comments for bots. But I'm up to both critique and enjoyment comments.

Because I have read the books and grown unreasonably attached to a bunch of randos who barely get any screentime and haven't been seen for six volumes. This might just be a bunch of one-shots or maybe I'll be able to motivate myself to give this an actual plotline...
Anyway, step right up and see what's been happening with The Beacon Brigade, a group of Shade students who haven't gotten much sleep since most of Atlas got dumped on their doorstep.
See, the great thing about writing characters who get next to no screentime is that nobody can tell you they're out of character! Rip Sage! This fic will be mostly about Teams CFVY and SSSN and also that one guy from the Vytal tournament who really should've figured out Nora's semblance quicker, otherwise known as Nolan Porfirio. The story begins pretty much right after the end of volume 8, but we'll probably get to Team RWBY's miraculous resurrection at some point.
We might get some more main character action eventually, but whatever, I'm the god of this spin-off universe.
I'm also a fickle god, so updates will be very erratic, sorry. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with some half-satisfying solution to all this. Enjoy! -
