Maybe in another world, things could have gone differently. What if Mr. Puzzles had gone left? After closing the rift he and WPNZ find themselves back on that road, in another timeline. they decided to go on a new adventure.
In this world Wpnz just wants to try and start over, create something that he's never had before. It's too bad he sucks at communicating that with Puzzles, but they get there eventually.... hopefully.

Wpnz would not explain why he’d barely be home, always explaining this would quote «be the last gig», barely stay at home with puzzles for a week before disappearing for god knows how long
Still Puzzles confessing his feelings when Wpnz already was working on cleaning up Puzzles guts and organs while apparently he knew of Puzzles feelings just wating for him to confess? Despite the lead up and context it’s really sweet and adorable!!! Gotta love ourselves some gay men

That almost gets relevant then they get chased off a clip and Wpnz falls and sinks to the bottom of a river. A collaboration between Toomp and Puzzles make sure Puzzles doesn’t die ti water damage tp his head and Puzzles saves Wpnz with mouth to mouth. Summary
Just a bunch of oneshots about Mr. Puzzles, Mr. WPNZ, and Toomp because I have too many ideas and no self-control. Some of these might be unused ideas for other AUs I'm working on, but I'll try to keep them contained enough to stand alone without knowing those AUs. If I have time and motivation, I might continue some of these as some of them I do have more ideas for a continuation.
Story 1: (WOTFI 2025) What if past WPNZ tried chasing after present Puzzles?
Story 2: (WOTFI 2025) After sacrificing themselves to close the rift, WPNZ and Puzzles end up back at the Showgrounds, but something's not quite right.
Story 3: A Puzzles/Karen friendship AU. WPNZ came back for his family but instead of finding his wife, he finds he's been replaced with a TV-headed man.
Story 4: Puzzles lives a perfectly domestic life with his partner WPNZ and their son Toomp. If he didn't know any better, he'd say it's too good to be true. (Horror Attempt Part 1)
Story 5: Puzzles' father tries to fit himself back into Puzzles' life, but not because he learned to be a better father. Puzzles' crazy dead grandmother is involved and it results in a friends-to-marriage speedrun. -

After some thinking, he decided maybe going back to Meggy wasn't the best option. He needed to save someone who actually saw him as a friend, someone who was in a lot of trouble right now with a certain evil fridge.

Summary
Puzzles is still facing the window with his back turned to them, when he cuts WPNZ off.
“I was planning on double-crossing the two of you, you know.”
His voice sounds distracted, or perhaps more accurately, detached. With a healthy hint of hysteria bubbling underneath that level, empty tone. WPNZ doesn’t react right away, merely stares at the turned back for a second or two. Once the words finally register properly in his brain though, he hastily turns towards Toomp, who looks back at him with equal measures of bafflement written in his big eyes.
or. The resident showman was clearly more than just a little bit conflicted on that fated crossroad. So, how about we give him a little helpful push in a different direction?
