They’d kissed before, but not like this. The softness was familiar, but there was this pushing-- the way Yang kissed her had this deep hunger to it that seemed to draw Blake in, make her even more desperate for her partner. For every touch, every breath, everything she could get. She needed it, and she needed it more than air or water. Yang made a little sound against her lips, a quiet little, ‘nnh,’ Blake had never heard before.
Something in her chest shuddered, burned like the heart of a star. It seemed to melt everything in Blake, curling around her bones and her skin, boiling hot and filled with the golden heat. She needed action, needed to move, needed...friction.
Her fingers fisted in Yang’s collar, and she pressed down with her hips and rocked forward.
In which sleepy cuddles after a training session in Atlas's simulators turn less-than-innocent when Blake's sleep-addled mind gets the better of her. It's not her fault Yang's abs are so sinfully perfect, or that her heart won't stop pounding every time she looks into her eyes.

They fall silent, and Yang turns back to the view, so Blake turns to Yang instead, watching her, the way the shattered moon reflects in her eyes, its light making her hair shine, gold and silver, silver on gold, like some kind of collision of precious metals. She's beautiful like this, Blake thinks.

Blake bit her lip, ears flicking slightly, she was contemplating something, and apparently came to some sort of resolve, firm ambers meeting lilac. "I want your arm, if you'll let me, to fix Gambol Shroud because I want the thing that saved me to help mend my weapon." Yang could tell there was something else, another reason that Blake wasn't going to tell her. Wasn't ready to tell her. "But only if you want to."

“We can’t do this.” Clover turns away, cursing the Brothers up above for implanting these feelings into his chest, for making him so goddamn warm every time Qrow enters his sight.
Qrow just stares back, crestfallen expression hardening in the blink of an eye. It’s a practiced transition, Clover realizes. That realization makes it worse.
He wants to beg Qrow to stay as he leaves, but he can’t put it into words. Shame and humiliation and anger and betrayal ring too loudly in his ears to find the right words to say that he can’t be the other man.
