Uncle Qrow's story about a princess cursed to lovesickness by a witch was a staple of Yang's childhood, one he always insisted was important she know and understand. She thought it was a lesson about hope and love enduring, or something to that effect, right up until petals crawl their way out of her throat, just like the princess in the story.
Who those petals are for isn't a mystery, but she thought she had more time to sort her feelings out.
Now, thanks to the Branwen Family Curse, the clock is ticking, and among the stress of fighting Salem and launching Amity, her time is running out.Series

The girls stare at him. He cringes internally. The last time he brought up faunus politics around his team Harriet told him to ‘lighten up’ and Elm laughed in agreement, clapping him on the back hard enough to send him tumbling forward. The silent message was to not bring it up again.
“Anyway!” he adds hastily with a fake smile he hopes is convincing. “I didn’t come here to solve systemic societal issues.” his tone is definitely not.

…he’s never wanted to kill his partner outright from the start, but perhaps he can make an exception. He did promise he’d change for his nieces, after all- whether that change is good or not is a different story.
