“Do you know what day it is?” he asks Biggs after another minute passes.
“Don’t tell me…I’ve missed a special occasion,” Biggs jokes, with the confidence of someone who knows he hasn’t missed anything.
Wedge huffs out a laugh and shifts away from Biggs long enough to grab a worn photograph off of the small table next to the bed and throw the covers over them both. He hadn’t missed how Biggs had started shivering almost immediately after they’d finished.
“We should take it easy. Your injury and all.”
“Not that injured.” Biggs echoes his words from earlier, sounding more irritated at the idea of an injury than anything else.
Still recovering from their injuries during the Pillar assault and Shinra dropping the plate, Wedge and Biggs rest, recover, and commemorate an important event. Written for FFVII Rarepair Week, Day 6: Events
