The galaxy’s in danger! Not the Sith kind of danger tho.
Worse. PR danger.So the Jedi Council, in their infinite wisdom, decides to fix their crumbling public image by putting Qui-Gon Jinn in charge of it. Yes, that Qui-Gon. The one who talks in riddles, refuses to follow the rules, and once stared at a senator for forty-five minutes in silence just to make a point.
Now he’s the official Jedi spokesperson.
Helping him (read: suffering beside him) is his teenage padawan Obi-Wan, who just wanted to learn Form III and not have to explain metaphors to reporters.
Naturally, it all goes downhill very fast.
There’s panic. There’s tea. There are plot twists that not even the author saw coming. And somewhere between the incense and the existential crisis, a new era of galactic communication is (very reluctantly) born.

Yaddle, the Master of Shadows, suggests an undercover opperative’s subtly and just so happens to have one who can pass as a Mandalorian of any of the three fractions, if Feemor can overcome the last of his Qui-Gon induced inadequacy issues in a mission fit to test any Master.
Jaster Mereel has been betrayed once. He refuses to be betrayed again.
