Summary
Owen isn't an idiot. He knows that if Scott finds out he's basically a newborn in vampire terms, he's going to take the easy meal and kill him. So, he lied-said he had been alive 200 years instead of in a state of unconciousness for 200 years. Hopefully Scott buys it.
Scott knows Owen is full of bullshit. No Sire would let a fledgling that young out of their sight at 200 years old, let alone out here. He thinks he's roughly 300, and is lying to make himself look like less of a threat.
Scott and Owen have a truce-they both stay out of each other's business and don't kill any humans. But for some reason, Owen is so, so hungry. And animal blood isn't cutting it.
Scott, on the other hand, is a little concerned at how bad at vampirism Owen is.

Summary
After all the betrayals that day, Scott needed to consolidate his bonds with his coven properly. He knew he was at the top of the humans’ kill list, so he needed to make sure he wouldn’t be on the vampires’ one as well.
He made his first move while Pyro, Apo, and Shelby were busy talking about Truffle (the pet pig of the first two), and whether to relocate him to the castle or leave him where he was. While he didn’t trust their new recruit one bit, that conversation seemed harmless enough. Besides, vampires grew stronger with age. His hearing was sharper than theirs. He could still monitor them, even if he moved somewhere more private to chat with Owen.

or, One by one, Scott ensures the loyalty of all of his prodigal fledglings. Set right after episode 5

Summary
There is an almighty explosion, one which shakes the walls of the cave and rattles the few hanging lanterns around the machine, and then there is a scream.
All Grian knows is that he’s flying, pumping his wings as fast as he can away from Doc’s tunnel bore. There’s no light, not a single torch to show him the way out of the endless cave the machine has carved, but he’s flying anyway. He’s somewhat aware that he might be the one who’s screaming, something high-pitched and shrill that bounces off of the stone and ricochets from the ceilings, but he can’t be sure.
Scar might be behind him, following him out just as panickedly, but all that Grian can focus on is the fact that Doc is going to kill them.

aka; the aftermath of the tunnel bore incident.

Summary
“How do I know?” The kid spits, knife raised again, trembling violently. His eyes are wet, angry and pleading and piercing right down into Grian’s soul.
“...If I can fly?” Grian asks, confused. His heart is beating fast.
The boy shakes his head violently, taking a lurching step forward, now only a few feet away. Something about his eyes almost seems familiar, but the thought is fleeting. The knife looks sharp. The child is crying, slow tears that barely have an effect on his voice.
“No,” the kid says forcefully. “How do I know you’re not a zombie?”
OR,
A young Scar fresh from a world overtaken by zombies stumbles through The Rift onto Hermitcraft, and is quickly adopted by the rest of the Hermits, who have no idea who he actually is.
An older Scar grapples with a past that he'd rather forget, all while trying to avoid the version of himself he left behind a long time ago. -

Summary
“What voices, Scar?” Martyn asks again, a bit closer now, snapping him back to attention.
“You— You know the Secret Keeper voices? When you succeed your task?” Scar asks, the words practically bursting out of him, propelled by the pressure of being kept at bay for so long.
Martyn’s eyes narrow just slightly, his gaze flickering to the Secret Keeper and then back. “Yeah, I’ve heard ‘em. We all have, far as I can tell.”
Scar nods and swallows, pasting on a shaky grin. “I hear them all the time.”
OR, The Watchers take a special interest in Scar.
