Summary
Arthur is relieved when Balinor the Dragonlord agrees to help, but dismayed when he refuses to come back to Camelot. Instead, Arthur is stuck waiting in the middle of nowhere while Balinor calls the dragon. To make matters worse, Arthur’s idiot manservant clearly has a massive crush on the guy: despite him being a grumpy, straggly, cave-dwelling sorcerer, who makes terrible cabbage pottage, Merlin hasn’t taken his eyes off him! Arthur will tolerate this nonsense for a couple of days, but only because he must save Camelot.

Fave I really liked this one. It was very interesting and really doubt into the pain suffering that Merlin actually caused around him by choosing Arther , but also sort of acknowledging what Merlin had to go through and was kind of on his own figuring all this out beautifully and I really liked being a fun son father relationship build as well as other learning and accepting magic also the thing where they’re like Merlin a warlock just playing with universe kind of funny and I love Matthew and I want a longer one that goes into the next story
