Summary
Damian, green and charcoal-stained, narrows his eyes with the determination of a blazing inferno; “You can’t hide,” he says, and the green, dewy grass is itchy under Tim’s hand - but it is grounding. “You can’t hide.”
When you scream through water, it’s distorted. When you scream through grave dirt, no one hears you.
“You can’t hide,” Damian snarls, all feral and wild, fiery and ambushing like a flood.
Tim is grave dirt. Tim is Bay water. Tim is -

Summary
Oh my god, Jason slowly realizes, it’s Dick Grayson.
“Oh my god,” the man with the gun whispers, “It’s the Red Hood.”
AKA a very serious (no it isn't) about finding home. It involves a chance meeting, a cat, an explosion or two, and family.

“Around these parts,” she continued, doing a wriggling movement that could barely pass as a shrug, “Normally the Cursed would be out at deep sea, not here.”
Jason’s hand slipped, the sharp shell barely missing the soft tissue of his webbed hands, “The Cursed?”
The squid judgmentally blinked her little beady eyes at Jason. “Your kind. They’re called the Cursed. Didn’t you know?”
No, he thought, I don’t know anything.

Summary
London should be feeling very lucky right about now. No one will be bombed today, thanks to a particular gun-slinging, not-dead, ex-Robin.
(Jason: 1, random-ass terrorists: 0.)
Although it was best if London’s latest saviour made a quick exit. Who knew throwing a bomb off a bridge was a bad idea?
Plus, the Mob. Those guys were starting to get really annoying.

Summary
"What would the two of you have wanted me to do then?" Dick asked, "Would you have wanted me to just send him home and just watch as Dent kills you both?"
"What I don't want is him being Robin!" Bruce shot to his feet, wincing slightly at the sudden movement.
"Robin is mine, Bruce, not yours!" Dick shouted, jabbing a finger into Bruce's - most likely bruised - chest to make sure his point got across loud and clear.

Summary
The third Robin cringed at the gleam in cerulean eyes. They were shimmering like a feral wolf starving for the hunt, the scent of easy prey wafting through the air. This predator was not Dick Grayson, or the Oracle. This was Nightwing, the grown Robin that flew into the neon-lit skies of Blüdhaven without a care of the chains of gravity.
Was it Tim, or did the room just get hotter?

Summary
Jason stayed by the ash. He was on Watch, and so was Kori. They were to remain quiet. Report if the situation changes, but they always had to have chatter in the background. If not, they would get bored and cranky and whiny.
(The animals talked behind him, just like green-eyes did with pale person. Nobody – especially pale person – liked when green-eyes got grumpy, so they always talked. Most of the time, it was not soft talk, but sharp and jovial and… banter-y.)
An owl hooted out in response to a cricket’s fine-tuning. Well done, it seemed to say, now actually give us something without showing off.

Summary
There was a particularly loud shout coming from the medbay, where the original trio of vigilantes were having an intense verbal match, using words like well-aimed knives and phrases like flickering infernos.
"Do not worry," Alfred told the boy seriously, "Master Dick is on board with you being Robin, and the lad has a way of getting what he wants."
The last thing he heard before the grandfather clock slid close was Dick's incredulous, "Robin is mine, Bruce, not yours!"
AKA: It's a lot less angst than it sounds!!!

Summary
A shriek cut through the chatter of nature, sending spikes through sensitive eardrums and provoking a whine.
The cry of a Robin continued, panicked and soft, but grave and foreboding with an underlined warning.
Every living thing held its breath, and the wind trickled to a stop, all not daring to cross the aliens. The ship – just a mere shadow with flashes of crimson-violet – crawled across the skyline of a dead Gotham, tipping the world into a solemn darkness.
In the dark, where Jason had never felt more alive.

Summary
They had gone to a new ice cream parlor, opting to eat it on some shabby rooftop to watch everything turn pink to midnight blue and the busy rush of frantic people going home after a long day of work sprawled underneath them.
“Bruce said electrum changes the colour of my eyes,” Dick had suddenly said into his melting ice cream, face illuminated by the soft orange sunset that highlighted the skyscrapers of an ever-evolving Gotham. He sounded… sad and solemn, but with a confusing underlay of relief and calmness.
AKA: Barbara knows that there is more to Dick Grayson than the facade of Robin.

Summary
This was Dick’s first time drinking in a few months, and he didn’t have Bruce’s self-control.
“I’ll stop you,” he assured, “If you go into blood lust, I’ll stop you. I promise.”
Now, looking at this tank of a man hold a fully grown doe to the ground, he had no doubt.

Summary
Ribs creaked from under his palms, sobs of the woman filling his ears as anger bubbled at his throat.
Only divine intervention would save the gunner when Nightwing got his hands on him.
(Tony Zucco died before he faced justice, but he didn’t deserve death. he deserved far, far worse.)
AKA: Dick and Bruce visits a circus, but after a performer gets shot, Dick is reminded of the haunting night on a trapeze platform in Haly's Circus...

Summary
Jason couldn’t breathe without coughing every five seconds.
It was in perfect sync with the ticktockticktockticktock’s of the bomb nestled in a corner.
Bombs normally give off heat and shrapnel, reducing stuff around them to debris.
What did it do to flesh of a human?
AKA: Jason in Ethiopia.

Summary
"Jason shivered, the air a thin puff and his lungs kicking into full gear.
His throat already ached, the bandages itchy against gauze and cotton. They had been changed and cleaned this morning, just before the hike to the only place that would probably take him back.
The All Caste."
AKA: Jason realizes that the family of a dead boy doesn't necessarily belong to an alive one.

Summary
He always hated being human. Maybe this was a sign of the universe saying that Bruce should just turn him already, because a Vampire Siren sounded amazing.
So, when Jason tried to focus on the sound of rhythmic ticking, he decided that when he woke up, he should really ask Bruce to do it, partly because of the dream and partly because Jason would be with him forever and they could be the dynamic duo till the end of time.

Summary
The library is what Tim indulged in.
Tim’s favorite was the books on the mermaids. The pages were yellowing and falling apart in his hands, the text looking faded and written in ink that was once black. Drawings were artistically shaded, doodles dancing on the edges.
“Drake?” Damian’s young voice filled the silence, sounding small and very concerned, “What are you getting yourself into?”

Summary
“What did you say?” Jackson growled, leaning closer.
Jason didn’t even bat an eyelid, rather looking rather bored with half-lidded eyes.
“You got a problem with me?” the jerk spat, nearly bent in half to be eye-level with the small boy.
“Yes,” Jason stated, because his daddy did not teach him when to shut up, “You’re putting your ugly mug in my face.”
AKA: Jason's first day at Gotham Academy and he's gotten into an unfair fight. Nothing like two complete strangers to even the odds, even if one is called Dick.
