Nick threw in the lit match, setting the bowl of herbs ablaze. Looking down at his note, he spoke the incantation:
“In nomine magni, dei nostri Satanas
Introibo ad altare, Domini Inferni”The flame grew higher, before dying completely. Nick waited a moment, then another, his patience being tested. Did he say it wrong? Did he use the wrong herbs? He scratched at his temples, cursing under his breath, till suddenly the room got colder.

“#######, ########!” That voice called out, and I felt nothing from those names; I haven’t felt anything since returning from that place. My brother stood first, prompting me to follow him. Of course, it was my parents; when would it ever be anything else? I wasn’t interested in whatever they had to say, so taking Sam’s hand, I ran off.
“Why would you not want to be with your parents?” Andy seemed confused, and I didn’t blame him; how could he ever understand? “They are not my parents.” I said simply. “I have not felt anything for them in a long time.” Andy thankfully seemed to understand after that, so we all got in my Baby and left.
17- and 11-year-old brothers are introduced to the world of the supernatural and, to their own surprise, take it better than they could have imagined. Hoping to follow in the footsteps of their heroes, they take on the names “Sam & Dean”, taking down what or whoever may stand in their way.

Summary
What if God had been a little more cryptic with his orders for Lucifer's fall? What if Michael hadn't been so hung up on following orders? What if Gabriel had a plan? What if Dean had been a more cautious asshole? What if Sam's self-hatred ran deeper?
"What do I do, Micah? I don't want to hurt anyone else. I don't want to be caged!" He cried helplessly, desperate for big brother to fix the problem.
"Do you trust me?" Michael asked quickly, glancing at Gabe behind Lucifer. The middle archangel looked back warily at his little brother.
"Micah…" Lucifer started to protest and back away from his brothers.
"Do you trust me, Samael?" Lucifer looked lost. Michael could tell that he was trying, but recent fighting among the brothers had peppered in distrust. Michael felt a shift in the atmosphere and knew that Raphael was gathering the other angels. No doubt he had told the other he was working under Michael's orders to help strike down Lucifer. The urgency was building and Michael knew he needed to hurry. "Trust me, Sami! Please." He begged, holding a hand out to his younger brother. Lucifer reached a hand out, almost like an impulse and grabbed Michael's hand.
“I trust you.”

Summary
The stories chronicle a post-season 11 AU.
When Amara raises Mary Winchester to show her gratitude to Dean, Chuck takes a moment to give a gift to Sam. He intervenes after the gun goes off and offers the younger Winchester a chance for healing beyond the physical. Healing for a soul shredded and burned.Using a piece of His own grace, God reforms Sam Winchester’s soul and body in order for Sam to properly process the traumas of the cage and beyond.
Now, Sam, Dean, Mary, Castiel, and others must figure out their new roles and relationships. But the story of healing is beyond the ragtag family of misfits on Earth.
