Summary
In his desperation and foolishness, he strikes a deal. He takes the unexpected nuisance beset upon him—Alastor, the conniving and foul human that calls himself Charlie’s business partner and investor—and spins it into his opportunity. The deal is simple: Alastor can drink his blood, partake in him as much as he wants, but Lucifer gets that physical intimacy he had been craving for almost a decade, for as long and as much as he pleases.
It’s a simple deal, but with horrific consequences that could go terribly wrong had Lucifer been any lesser being.

“Right, but aren’t angels usually up in heaven?”
“Yes, usually, but I’m your guardian angel,” Lucifer says, nodding and standing, the bounds around his hands and body falling away like water. Alastor watches in awe as it happens, shoulders stiffening in slight alarm, but Lucifer simply beams and offers his hand. “Pleased to meet you.”
“Charmed,” Alastor says as he takes the offered hand, shakes it, then pointedly wipes his hand on the front of his suit, much to this angel’s consternation.
Or: Alastor attempts to murder the local coffeehouse's barista, but accidentally invites his guardian angel into his life instead.

“And how exactly does trusting her judgment correlate to your claws so close to my person?”
Lucifer doesn’t immediately reply. Instead he digs his claws into the palm of his own hand until the unmistakable smell of fresh blood begins to permeate. When Alastor looks at Lucifer’s hand again, his fingertips are stained a brilliant gold. Alastor stiffens, ears noticeably flicking.
Lucifer smirks then leans forward, voice low, and says, “Have you ever had the blood of an angel before?”

Ajax wouldn’t call himself stupid, per se, but he was slow on the uptake. But could you blame him, though? The normal response to your roommate being weird isn’t, “Oh, they must be a supernatural being from the depths of who-knows-where from when-knows-what-time,” but rather, “Wow, my roommate is weird. Can I keep living with them despite this?” And he will stand by that argument until the day he dies (thank you very much, Lumine).
Or, 5 times Ajax should have realized that his roommate was not what he seemed, and 1 time he finally did.
