Solar (Agent 4) Was abandoned by the Splatoon. Why? She doesnt know, nor does she care. Its been an entire year sense last contact with anyone associated with the Splatoon, and 3 years sense she had even seen Marie, Callie, Or Inuo (Captain 3). Now Solar wants to live her life without them, trying to cut all ties with them for good. But as she'll find out, that will be easier said than done.

Summary
Callie has always felt protective of Agent 4. Maybe it's because no one really wants to attach themselves to the pigmy squid, maybe it's because she saved her, maybe it's just her size and age making her appear more vulnerable. Either way Callie has always been behind the scenes to protect the agent, and when 4 comes back from a scarring mission not acting like herself, Callie's maternal instincts kick in like slap to the face.

It was safe to say that, from the eyes of Agent 4, that she wasn’t the biggest fan of her supposed predecessor. Maybe it was the way she seemed to carry herself. Maybe it was her demeanor around others. Or maybe it was the look agent 3 gave four when they first met. The look that sang many songs of distrust and disappointment. And yet, this was who she was meant to live up to? To be the successor of? With an aura so dark, the night sky could be put to shame? It felt pitiful. This was not what Agent 4 wanted. She wouldn’t be able to live with herself if she was. And, if she could help it, she would avoid it at all costs.

After the whole New Squidbeak Splatoon left for Splatsville, Agent 4 was entrusted with remaining in Inkopolis to make sure Octavio didn’t try to escape. But over the coming months, Inkopolis became deserted, leaving Agent 4 alone. Not only that, but Marie hasn’t been responding to their texts or calls. As time goes on, Agent 4 grows more and more desperate, and Octavio’s offers to take the pain away seem more and more enticing.
