"So what!" she barks out at the man Jet is lying against, and oh, that's right. There's some guy behind him, someone he knows, and it's not Sokka. Not Aang either, unless the kid's balls have dropped all the way down to his knees in the last -- huh. How many months has it been, anyway, since lake Laogai? Surely not enough for Aang to be hit that hard by the puberty stick.

Ivan.
He wasn't someone who made Till think 'he's the one' when they first met, but love is never simple and straightforward at first. He's fuckin' annoying, seriously, he doesn't know there's someone very dedicated to poking his temperamental side—whether it's a strength or a weakness, but Till never minded their closeness—maybe because he's lonely or his own dark times have slightly instilled a sense of gratitude. Anyway, one thing is for sure, they both ended up love each other and do not want to experience a separation.

Because, in fact, Till was using him. He doesn't know how to live without Ivan at his side. Not yet.

But that would be too cruel on a night like this, and Ivan is a weak man, especially when Till is linking his fingers behind Ivan’s neck and kissing him again and again with lips that urge Ivan to let go, to dissolve and diffuse into Till, to stay, stay with me.

“No. The turtle ducks haven’t ever done anything to you. I won’t let you torment them.” Iroh tries to keep his voice calm but he still seethes with anger over finding Ozai holding one of the fragile ducklings over the water by its webbed feet.
“You aren’t any fun. They’re just stupid animals, and dad says we have way to many of them anyways.” Ozai’s eyes flash dangerously, in a way they had been since he was small, in a way that scared Iroh. “Besides, you ate one last night.”

“I’m Zuko,” the boy repeats, and then goes on in a voice that is smooth with repetition, “son of Ursa and Prince Ozai, grandson of Fire Lord Azulon. Prince of the Fire Nation.”
Silence. Sokka wants to laugh, or cry, or scream. He settles for pinching himself, hard. The scene in front of him doesn’t change. So much for his theory of long lost relative.
Or: The Gaang moves on to the Beach House and (temporarily) adds not just one, but two Zukos to their team. No, Sokka doesn’t really know how this happened, either.
