Summary
Jabber wants to answer wants to tell him “I’m okay I’m just... like this.”
But he can’t not mid heat sweaty and shaky and not himself he doesn’t want Zanka to hear him like that or to drag Zanka into this mess.
So he stays in the nest listening to the silence after the call ends and lets the ache come back in.
After a few rings the choker stops rings Jabber tells himself it’s better this way for the both of them.

“Didn’t know a vamp could make it as a Cleaner.” Jabber tilts his head, dreadlocks cascading down his face and breaking apart Zanka’s view of his piercing magenta eyes, his wolf tail almost wagging. “C’monn, mannn, ya can't tell me that you don’t wanna take a bite of me, hmm?”

Summary
Zanka knew that carrying out a relationship with a Raider as a Cleaner would be complicated. He knew he'd have to be careful. More than careful. He'd have to be perfect- no matter what, no one could find out about the truth. Not when he knew what the consequences would be.
Naturally, he slips up anyways, accidentally mentioning Jabber's name at HQ, and it’s all over.
Except its not. Because there's good news and bad news.
The good news was that Zanka hadn't actually said Jabber's name. Instead, he'd said a nickname. A nickname that nobody knew referred to Jabber.
The bad news was that now all the Cleaners thought that Zanka had a girlfriend named Abby, and if he wanted to keep his job, his family, and his relationship with Jabber, he was going to have to keep up the charade.
What could go wrong?

Feitan, who had seen you place the fireworks, didn’t correct him. After all, snitches get stitches.

Feitan, Shalnark, and Phinks get bored waiting for Chrollo to call them to a mission.
So, they decided to answer a "Roommates Wanted" ad. Wanting to see how long it'd take for either their new roommate to realize they're wanted terrorists, or until one of them gets bored and kills them.
Unexpectedly this fun idea on how to spend a week or two turns out to be a lot longer than just a few weeks.
