It was easy to forget that Clark wasn’t human. He looked like one, talked like one, acted like one. And unless he was in his Superman suit, he rarely used his powers, at least the obvious ones like flying or being able to destroy the whole planet with his pinky.
Once you become close with Clark, once he reveals his secret to you, starts to trust you and feels comfortable around you, you start to notice small things about him that weren’t human.
