Summary

Summary
Turns out that the end of the world didn't happen to everyone, just Dean Winchester.
Cas is still gone, and Dean's been adrift in his grief for nearly a year. That is, until he stumbles across a haunted mansion on a Minnesota lake - a ravenously hungry house currently lying in wait for her next victim. So Dean just up and buys the place, of course. As one does. He's got some half-baked idea about hotwiring the house to do his bidding, or something. He could be going crazy. He could be a friggin' genius. He's definitely starting to feel like himself again.
Thing is, Cas might already be out of the Empty. Maybe. Sort of. In fact, he might be A LOT closer to Dean than Dean realizes.
It's not gonna be easy to get back everything he lost, but Dean is ready to harness the most ancient powers on earth to get it done. He just didn't plan on doing it in a shared body or in a house that wants to eat his soul or while raising up a growing crew of very peculiar strays. Hell, it's a living. Might even be a good one. Vegas money says maybe.

Summary
(Set right after 4.22) Castiel was not killed by Raphael on the night of Lucifer’s release. Instead, he’s sent to the year 1996 and encounters the Winchesters. Unable to return to the present, Castiel resigns himself to traveling with them on their hunts across the states.
Meanwhile in the year 2008, Dean has barely gotten used to being back in the land of the living when he gets the biggest shock of his life; the man he fell in love with when he was eighteen has seemingly come back from the grave as well, claiming to be an angel of the Lord. The thing is, he doesn’t have a clue who Dean is.

Summary
Castiel Novak is convinced he’s the last unwillingly single person in Lupine Cove. Even Gabriel, his perpetual bachelor brother, has found love. It’s probably because Cas leads the most boring life in existence. He’s a gay man living in a rented, one-room cottage in the same small coastal town he grew up in, just getting by as the owner of the same convenience store he was practically raised in. The most excitement he gets is chatting with the locals or maybe, if he’s unlucky, oversleeping and rushing to work. So when a baby is left at the Safe Haven drop-off at the local fire station, he takes the opportunity to step in for the child temporarily, at least until suitable parents, plural, can be found.
Life certainly gets more interesting.
And it gets even more interesting when a handsome man comes crashing—literally—into his life.

Summary
