Antes de que el pasado cambiara, Pink y Max eran amigos de infancia que jugaban bajo la mesa del té sin preocuparse por reinos, tronos ni rencores. Pero el tiempo se reescribió, el padre de Max terminó desterrado a la Isla de los Perdidos por orden de la Reina de Corazones, y cuando ambos se reencuentran en Auradon ya no queda nada de aquella amistad. Solo rencor, orgullo herido, y una etiqueta que Max repite como arma: Nepobaby.
Pink solo quiere caer bien a todo el mundo, sonreír a través de cualquier cosa y fingir que su hermana no la evita ni su madre la ignora. Max solo quiere que alguien pague, aunque sea con la persona equivocada, por todo lo que su familia perdió.
Esta es la historia de dos personas que se conocieron mucho antes de convertirse en enemigos y que ahora empiezan, sin quererlo, a mirarse distinto.

Summary
After Maddox got incarcerated and the VKs and HKs had to go back to classes, something still hung inside Max chest ''Why did his life had to change so much? What else changed? Why didn't he see Pink in the Oraculum?'' And now, he and Pink are getting closer, after all, Luis, Chloe and Robbie were her sister's friends, not hers, so they both needed someone.
Basically, Max knows Pink didn't exist before but doesn't want her to know that, she already has an identity crisis. But sometimes the truth does come out, and what do we do in those situations is what defines us.
