Summary
This story takes place after the Avengers movie. Jane is really happy Thor's back. She's also rapidly running out of clothes. And food. And furniture. To begin with, Jane Foster finds out what happens when you take the god of Thunder shopping at Wal Mart. It rains a lot. There is a lot of sex. Everbody ends up in New York. Thor is very toppy and Jane doesn't mind one bit. A lot of limits are pushed, but not crossed. This story attempts to be true to my idea of the canon relationships as I see them in the Marvel Movieverse. Also have I mentioned that there is a ton of sex? I personally envision the Avengers as really complicated, messed up people, and that's how I tend to write them. Also, even though there's hardly ever more than kissing in super hero movies, I think after you save the world and nearly die and see your friends nearly get killed too, your blood's probably up a bit and you're gonna have needs. I love Thor's character, and I entirely disagree with his portrayal as a buffoon and an idiot. He's an alien, and he doesn't always get Earth culture, but he's a good man with very strong opinions about what he wants, nor is he afraid to take it. If you don't ship it, don't read it. Or do. You might change your mind.

Covid-19.
Darcy needs a place to stay because she has asthma and Jane refuses to be a good friend and stay home- well, she has to work. Steve offers his two-bed apartment, that he won't be using due to a mission in Europe.
Only it's with the only person on the plant that hates her, James Barnes. But she needs a place and she's willing to isolate with an assassin, heck, maybe he'll kill her and she won't have to pay her student loans.
But she learns that Bucky is a great cook, an even better dancer, and loves to place a bet- especially when it comes to when Steve will finally make a move on his own ex, Natasha. Odd as it may seem, Bucky kinda likes them two together, in fact, Darcy realises that he ships Steve x Nat.Natasha and Steve are stuck in London, a small apartment and ONLY ONE BED? They also have a bet, when will Darcy and Bucky get together. Steve thinks Bucky will die before he ever admits to have emotions, Natasha thinks this isolation is exactly what is needed. Natasha also knows that Steve is crushing on her, so maybe being in London in a small apartment with him won't be so bad... if only he knew the feelings were mutual but she's not going to give first... no way.

Cooking is one of Bucky’s favorite things to do nowadays. It’s therapeutic to be able to put all of his love and focus into making food for him and his husband. Preparing a meal for the two of them is something precious to Bucky, getting to do this for him and Steve after years and years of not being able to afford enough food for a proper meal and not being together for well over half a century. To be able to sit down together at the table and enjoy whatever Bucky decided he wanted to cook that day is another one of Bucky’s favorite things.

“You look like you need a nap,” grumbled Bucky as he kissed Sam on the cheek before wandering back to the kitchen, “Say the word, and I’ll turn away your friends.”
Sam laughed.
“You’re not telling my newly formed Avengers to leave. It’s taken me this long to gather these people. I don’t need you scaring them away,” said Sam as he heard a knock at the door.
Sam began standing up, but Bucky shook his head, gesturing for Sam to sit back down. Sam sat on the couch, watching Bucky stride to the front door of their apartment.
“Love the apron, Bucky,” said Monica as she handed Bucky a bottle of wine, walking in with Joaquín, “It’s really cute on you.”
Sam tried not to grin as he saw Bucky blush.“I like cooking. And kisses. From Sam. So. Yeah,” mumbled Bucky as he smoothed down some wrinkles on his “Kiss the Cook (If You’re Sam)” apron.
“I’m sure you do,” hummed Joaquín as he joined Monica in Sam’s apartment, heading towards the living room, “Handsome man like Sam, how couldn’t you?”
