What is purpose when the world has ended?
Rory is a sixteen-year-old girl who awoke in the middle of the ocean following the destruction caused by a global war, having been saved by someone claiming to be the Polaris, the North Star. In addition to her life being saved, Rory was given a place to live, enough food and entertainment to sustain herself, and the promise of a permanent refuge in a place called Ganymede. Without much idea of what Ganymede is, Rory must launch herself into a world of discovery while learning more about her mysterious savior and the growing conflict between the people of Earth and a group of scientists who seek to turn the planet into a scrapyard.

Julia clicks it, then immediately yanks her hand away from the computer, as if that would undo what she had done. Nothing happens for a beat, and then two, and then a trademark red hat appears on the blank screen, followed by a stream of words:
I KNEW YOU’D CATCH ON ;)
Julia blushes despite herself, and then a real email appears across the screen, one she’s positive belongs to Carmen. She briefly considers the weight of her next actions, but before she knows it, she’s adding Carmen to her contact list, and emailing her (with a new personal but somewhat disguised email, of course).
OR;
Julia is a very cautious person, she swears. But maybe, when Devineaux starts getting emails about his cars extended warranty, there's more to it than meets the eye. And just maybe, she'll figure out whatever the hell Carmen means in each message.

But nothing in Harry's life had ever been easy, so when Draco became a target Harry steps in. Harry should have known that as long as he was a student at Hogwarts, trouble was sure to follow him around every turn.

Harry Potter was like the sun. He shone brightly and pulled everyone into his orbit with a gravity that was difficult to escape. Being in his presence was like basking in the warmth of a ray of sunlight, the feeling of his attention almost addictive. However, Draco knew that if he allowed himself to get close to him, like those summer days where he had run wild as a child, he would be burned. Too much exposure to him caused Draco’s skin to itch just below the surface, and it caused him to lash out. If he wanted any peace of mind at all, it was better to stay as far away from him as possible.
