Wei Wuxian died.
Wei Wuxian died, twice over.
Once, when his golden core was gifted to his dear Shidi. Twice, when he sacrificed himself to destroy the Stygian Tiger Seal.
And unfortunately, death is not a kind thing, not to a human mind already wrought with pain and grief and regrets.
So when Wei Wuxian opened his eyes, in a body made by magic and shadows and the sacrifice of one Mo Xuanyu, it was understandable, then, that he returned somewhat… other.
And somehow, this makes all the difference.

Summary
Given that the end of the world was going to happen in a month or so, most people would write their wills and pray and wait. But Trevor's never been good at waiting, and Sypha's got a brain full of crazy plans, and Adrian is an enabler. The only logical conclusion they reach is time travel—hindsight is 20/20 after all. Or whatever they say. Trevor was never one for proverbs (that's more Adrian's thing).
The only issue, as it turns out, is that vampirism is an affliction of the soul, not the physical. Which Trevor only learns of after Sypha's spell has suceeded, reverting his much altered future self at four and ten in a household of ghosts he barely remembers. He's fucked.

Summary
In which a conversation occurs that reveals to Mairon that perhaps... perhaps there is a third path to take, one where there is no need to cut any losses. After all, if anyone were to craft an elegant solution to a conundrum such as Tyelpë's adoration, it would be Annatar.
Meanwhile, Telperinquar just wants Annatar to take care of himself. Ainur or not, sleepless nights cannot be good for one's mind.
And this shifts things, creating the smallest step towards a kinder future.

Summary
This is related to my first fic, "It's Not the Destination (But The People You Save Along The Way)" that's a bit of a canon rewrite / fix-it wth a sprinkling of more. Read that first for context, just the first chapter is enough. This? This is my escape from plotting angst with ridiculous future crack set in that same verse.
Each chapter will be a standalone "episode," and I'll update sporadically as the mood hits.

Jiang Cheng said ‘fuck’ too much. “Because when it comes to supernatural phenomena in modern times, it’s easily faked. Therefore, we’ll be going in with actual talismans and cultivation practices from our heritage and testing if its,” he inhaled deeply, “Fact or cap. I hate that. Who wrote this script?”
“I did!”
Jin Zixuan looked pained. “Of course you did. Of course you had to include that.”

Izuku liked his brother. He was kind, he had gentle eyes. He carried Izuku on his shoulders and always said yes to playing hero with him and Kacchan.
Izuku knows it’s only been a week since Touya crashed into their lives, injured and hurting but so very, very brave, but he fits. He fits with them so well that sometimes Izuku wonders if Touya had secretly been there all along.
He’s always sad, too. Sad in a way Izuku doesn't understand, but Izuku was determined to make Touya smile. He’d gotten four! Four whole smiles out of Touya already! And four was a lot, Izuku knew. Izuku had been four for almost six months now.

It's Not The Destination -- Canon Rewrite but make it a bit more spooky. Still in progress, I'm planning to give something familiar and yet new. It's always bugged me that the resentful energy didn't have any physically altering conditions, so here I am doing what I want.

Summary
Every morning Daelyra Targaryen wakes up and chooses violence. (Figuratively, at least.)
It might be because she’s Daemon Targaryen’s daughter. It might be because her soul is from another world. It might be because her dragon blood runs hotter than most, and that means more than she knew it could. It might be because the dragon that chose her is the most vicious of them all. It might be because she's a woman on a mission.
So many might-be’s, but one thing is certain: she wasn’t meant to exist, and the sole fact that she does was enough to knock the world off its axis.
Why not push the change further?
Or: Targaryens really aren’t human and expecting them to conform to human standards rarely ends well, and sometimes an unhinged woman with an unhinged dragon is all the world needs to prevent a disaster long in the making.
