Before he can pull away, she grabs at the collar of his shirt, just above where the armour stops. Sniffs, pulls a face. “I’m surprised you’re out here. Take him home.”
“I’m not-we’re not-” Argenti stutters, caught off-guard for what feels like the first time in the better part of a decade. He shakes his head slightly, and it dislodges her grip. “It’s not like that.”
“You’re in rut, stinking up the place, and you’re with him."
