Summary
At a first glance, Allison Graves seems far more well adjusted than her brother and sister. Sure, she's clingy and puts her sister Ashley on a pedestal, and sure she sometimes has waking dreams that are disturbing, but she does her best to help her siblings with their intense emotional traumas.
On the other hand, her tar colored soul is no less dark than Ashley's. With Andrew's temperance, Ashley's manipulative and obsessive nature, and an uncanny sense of the desires of those around her, she has no intention on changing their trajectory altogether.
My first fic here, and the first time I've written anything in 14 years. This game has stolen my heart.
This is Yet Another Third Sibling AU. I was inspired to write this fic after reading The Third Coffin by Delerious_Delicious. Shoutout to everyone here who writes such top tier stuff!

Summary
The year is 1955.
After years of humanity's struggle to survive under the attacks of the doppelgangers, the DDD came up with a solution. Walls. Thick, tall, walls for the sake of humanity. Across the world, cities are divided by these walls. No one, including doppelgangers, can get in or out, in the hopes of one day creating a society that doesn't have to live under the looming force of death. Within those cities more walls are constructed, in the form of apartment buildings: forced residency to keep humans safe in numbers.
Nearly a decade has passed since the walls went up, but the struggle to survive still looms as the doppelgangers reproduce seemingly as fast as they are exterminated. The door guards protect the apartment buildings from the threats, working together with the DDD to eliminate them.
It seems that things are slowly getting to a sense of normalcy. Humanity might be able to survive.
Until he made an appearance. Wearing the face of a resident from her building, the Milkman, Francis, he attempts to enter the building, and she is the only one able to stop him. His interest in her might just be what this world needs to finally tilt the scales for survival.

He feels when things are wrong. And oh fuck, are they ever wrong. He feels like he’s going to throw up, but he just forces himself to fall up the steps even faster. Don’t be late again. Don’t fucking do that, Vantas.
He stumbles out, heaving in breaths as he takes in the scene, brain working furiously to compensate for the terror thrumming in his veins and the pounding of his head.

When you play CotL, it becomes pretty obvious early on that you aren't really playing the good guy. The idea first introduced is that you are getting revenge for your fallen kin and freeing the one who brought you back to life, but by the end you are just as cruel as the ones who killed you.
This is really good storytelling, and I love it a lot.
But~
What if the lamb was the good guy? What if there was more to the cruelty of the bishops than simple greed for devotion?
And as a great man once said, "Could be gayer."
