Summary
It's 8th year at Hogwarts and the war has been won; Harry Potter was successful in Voldemort's demise. The Golden Trio returned to Hogwarts along with their long time bully and former Death Eater, Draco Malfoy.
Regardless of Voldemort being dead, there was still an imminent threat lurking over the Wizarding World with his most loyal Death Eater, Lucius Malfoy, expected to be on the run from Wizarding authorities.
The students all cross paths on a journey of forgiveness, healing, comical bantering, unlikely friends, sexual tension, raging hormones, PTSD, magical objects, shared trauma, Hogwarts adventures, and a magnetic pull that somehow has been unnoticed for the past 8 years.

Hermione Granger thought that she could not possibly be surprised by anything anymore, but Theodore Nott arriving at the safe house with a perilous, last-ditch solution to the nearly-lost war against Voldemort isn't even the most unbelievable thing. The most unbelievable thing is that Theo is supposed to be dead.

The Order is losing the War. Most are dead and the ones remaining are sure to follow. Theodore Nott has a solution. Give up everything to win it all back. It's simply not the Slytherin way to run head-first at a problem, and Hermione is ready to try anything. His solution? A bit more cunning. It's one thing to run straight at the King and hope for the best, but perhaps the solution is to get rid of the pawns- one by one- first.

Summary
Draco Malfoy only wanted to jump straight into the family business and begin clearing the Malfoy name of its unsavoury associations after getting his NEWT scores. As Fate would have it, he would be once again stripped of his choice. Presenting as a male Veela on his 18th birthday, Draco is the first in over 200 years. He is also most vulnerable.
With one half of the castle enamoured with him and the other half resenting him for the Dark Mark on his arm, he decided to keep his head low, his grades up, and comply with the strict restrictions the Ministry enforced on him for the length of his parole. It was hard enough to ignore the temperamental, beastly side of him, therefore a plot to exploit the legal system and enact an ancient curse was the last thing he needed on his already heavy and winged shoulders.
Then there was Granger. Someone with whom he had no real desire to move past civility. Yet, his Veela had other ideas once she became his only lifeline.
