Padmé and Anakin make their goodbyes to Coruscant one teary and emotional morning at the start of the year, holding two babies and each other’s hands and a “you must visit.” Obi-Wan knows even as they leave that there is nothing they can do about their divergent responsibilities, and that with them on Naboo and Obi-Wan anywhere in the galaxy at any given moment, they will, necessarily, grow further and further apart.
So naturally, a month later, Obi-Wan walks into his suite to find Anakin sitting on his couch.

Obi-Wan stepped forward so that both his hands were on the coffee table as he looked at Kal.
“I want to know how it feels to have sex with someone who wants me and cares what I want too,” Obi-Wan murmured, “I want you to prove what you said was true, that I’m not broken and that under the right hand, I would be able to come. Fuck me, Kal. Show me.”
Kal Skirata has had a lot of clients, but something about his one appointment with Obi-Wan du Crion, and his husband Xanatos stays with him long after the man has left his office.
Obi-Wan is ready to give up on love. He's got a failing marriage, a lot of resentment, and a hollowed chest as he watches his husband cheat on him over and over again.
Until he decides that two can play in that game.

“That it definitely did.” His auburn brows knit together on his forehead and he missed the way Anakin’s eyes darkened and his nostrils flared. He entirely missed the way those black wings raised as if in mild offense, which didn’t make sense anyways.
Anakin’s own brows pinched together at how dense his master could be, he almost wanted to reach through their bond to show him just what he smelled like to him. The black winged man cleared his throat, mind made up as he set his shoulders in determination, and corrected himself by saying, “sorry, what I meant was, you smell karking amazing.”

“Oh god,” Obi-Wan muttered to himself, standing at the sink, obviously staring.
