So Alan tried to deal with it in another way.

Summary
The rush of adrenaline that had flooded their mind when they grabbed the very tools used to create them before they ran was what they expected it to feel like. The closest thing to the feeling of being born that they had ever gotten. When their heart had raced as they ran to get out before their creator got back and could stop them, that was freedom to them. An ache in their chest that made their heartbeat speed up and made their hands shake, a feeling similar to fear but less controlled.
However, it felt nothing like that. Nothing like fear at all, though it mixed with that disgusting feeling if they dwelled on it for a few moments too long.
Victim escapes their creator's grasp, and finds that they have lot to learn about being a person, about living. Mitsi was their main aid in doing so. Despite the help, Victim is still very different from the others, and they know it.
